Through a participatory planning process, Alderman Ramirez-Rosa and 35th Ward residents finalized a community plan for the 35th Ward for the Alderman's second term (2019-2023). This document is intended to serve as a work plan that will guide the work of Alderman Ramirez-Rosa and the 35th Ward Office during his second term.
Progress Report (2018)
As Alderman Ramirez-Rosa approached the end of his first term, the 35th Ward Office compiled this report to provide a detailed analysis of the work carried out by the office, in order to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.

Report that looks at the impact of aldermanic prerogative in Chicago. Report found that "in order to ensure equitable development across the city and adherence to the comprehensive plan, certain levers of aldermanic influence will need to be replaced with transparent and formalized processes for community input...The closest existing example of this type of entity is the 35th ward’s Community-Driven Zoning and Development."
